Henry Arnett is a 1976 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Law. In addition to being a principal for ArnettRader, he is a principal in the law firm of Livorno and Arnett Co., LPA. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. He is also very active in the Columbus Bar Association, having served on the Judiciary Committee, the Federal Court Committee and as Chairman of the Labor Law Committee. Henry is general counsel for the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters, represents numerous other labor unions and is on several legal service panels. He has negotiated numerous collective bargaining agreements on behalf of labor organizations, has represented union members in the disciplinary process and labor organizations in their grievance and arbitration procedures.
Kevin Rader is the former Director of Education for the International Association of Fire Fighters. He served in that role from 2006 until 2012. In that capacity, he oversaw the development of both online and instructor curricular modules that are delivered to IAFF membership. Also, as the Director of Education, Kevin organized the annual IAFF educational conference, ALTS, and the biennial Ernest A. “Buddy” Mass Human Relations Conference; organized and participated in the annual Instructor Development Conference; served as the IAFF staff liaison for the Elected Human Relations Committee; and served as a Commissioner on the Commission on Fire Accreditation International. Prior to becoming the Director of Education at the IAFF, Kevin was an IAFF Service Field Representative for the 8th District and a Partnership Education Program (PEP) instructor. For 30 years Kevin was a fire fighter with the Lima Fire Department, Local 334, where he was a platoon chief/paramedic, retiring in June 2003. He was involved with the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters (OAPFF) for 17 years. At the OAPFF Kevin held several leadership positions including District Vice President for 9 years; Director of Education Research; and the Chairman of the Human Relations Committee. At the local level he served as the President, Vice President and Treasurer of Local 334. He also chaired and sat on various local committees including bargaining, labor-management, health and safety, constitution and by-laws, and political action. Throughout his union career, Kevin has organized more than 25 IAFF locals and assisted in negotiating more than 175 labor agreements.
